Can Balancing Hormones Help You Lose Man Boobs?

When males are cursed with exceptionally breasts, they are likely to try anything to get rid of them. Summer time and warm weather are dreaded and swimming is a nightmare. Some do opt for the surgical method of removing the enlarged breasts but for many that is not an option. Once surgery is eliminated, the next step is usually suggesting diet and exercise. Many times that provides the long awaited answer but sometimes it does not. Some people who have suffered with this condition claim that they have found an answer that worked for them and that the answer is all about balancing your hormones.

Hormones in males start to peak when they are in their twenties. The problem is that sometimes this balancing does not happen on its own. Some research has been done with Gynexin, which is a supplement that targets the fatty cells in the chest, in particular the mammary glands. Gynexin is an herbal supplement that is supposed to reduce the quantity and size of the fat cells within the breast area. The makers of Gynexin claim that men will likely see an increase in firmness of the chest within a couple of weeks. The problem with Gynexin is that it requires no FDA approval since it is herbal.

Interval training is another suggested method of removing man boobs. It is recommended that if intense upper body workout regimens are incorporated with a low carbohydrate diet. This type of exercise program burns body fat faster than other methods. Males have to factor in the fact that if they are overweight or obese. Further, if a male smokes a fair to moderate amount of marijuana or uses heroin, one of the side effects is Gynecomastia. So it only makes sense that if a male stops smoking marijuana or quits using heroin that the symptoms would naturally subside.

Many prescribed medications also cause Gynecomastia as a side effect so again if you take the time to sit down with your doctor and discuss all of the medications that you are currently taking; it is highly possible that the doctor would be able to change some of your medications to eliminate the side effects. An example of this would be if your doctor is prescribing Lipitor for your high cholesterol, Lipitor is one of the more than 36 prescribed medications that can cause Gynecomastia as a side effect. The doctor could change that medication to Zetia, which is a new approach to high cholesterol without the same side effects.

Another thing to consider is this, if your Gynecomastia is caused from a medication that you are taking for an underlying condition such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes, one option might be to change your lifestyle around so that you do not need to take that medication any longer. In other words, if you are diabetic and your diabetes is a result of an unhealthy lifestyle and a poor diet then change your lifestyle and diet around to correct the problem so that you can stop taking the medication.
